    The wrong version, '05.01.0A' is displayed in the title. 


    RESOLUTION:

    Apply the zap below and execute VSUM.  The correct version,

    '05.02.01' will now be displayed.

  • The batch REPRINT function will fail with various different errors.

    FIX: 5.1A-02


    SYMPTOM:

    The batch REPRINT function will fail with various different errors. 


    Some of the error messages are listed below:

    • VSUM-ERRR03 NO RECORDS FOUND MEETING CRITERIA ON FILE='CASTATS '
    • VSUM-ERRR08 NO CA STATISTICS FOR THE CIREPORT WERE FOUND FOR DSN=
    • VSUM-ERRR03 NO RECORDS FOUND MEETING CRITERIA ON FILE='DSSTATS '

    The VSUM product Installation Verification Program (IVP) makes use of the REPRINT function and this error will cause some of the steps of the USERIVP program to fail with a return code 4.


    RESOLUTION: 

    Replace the VSUMRERN module in your 5.1A library with the one provided. 

    Download 5.1A-02.  

    Unzip and transfer the file to z/OS. 

    Use TSO RECEIVE to unload the sequential file into the VSUM load library.
